Refrigerated shipping containers can be highly problematic due to one major problem - traditional systems require a power source at all times, and the availability of these is highly unreliable on ships.

This makes eistechnik systems, which require no power source in use, an instant ideal solution. So we have developed the fantastic eisbox - an insulated container with an eistechnik system optimised for maximum performance and thermal retention.

The eisbox works in the same way as a road going vehicle - while it is in the depot (i.e. before being shipped), it is plugged in and charged down to temperature.

It is then simply unplugged and shipped out, and without any further power source will maintain deep frozen or chilled temperature for extended periods of time, ensuring any type of temperature sensitive cargo reaches its destination at the correct temperature.
